Allison is a joy to work with. Not only was she cheerful at 7:30 in the morning on a frigid winter Saturday when we did our shoot, but she was also professional and well prepared, having scouted our suggested photo shoot locations the day before and even found some fun surprise spots for photo ops we hadn't yet discovered. My fiancé Ben and I think about our engagement shoot often and in addition to being incredibly pleased with the photos and gallery/ordering experience, we have fond memories of the whole day. It's evident in Allison's demeanor that she loves to capture love and it shows in her work. We felt like we were just on a really fun (early morning) date, laughing and being ourselves, and Allison was in the background, snapping pictures and giving suggestions when appropriate. I would recommend her to any bride or groom!

Allison photographed both our engagement shots as well as our actual wedding. As two very picky visual people (an architect and an art historian), choosing Allison as our photographer was such an important decision, because we knew, among all of the things to worry about during one's wedding, we needed to NOT be stressed about how the day was being documented. Allison was such a calming presence to have throughout the whole day and made both our families feel at ease. To this day (5 years later) when we are looking at wedding pictures with our families, Allison's name comes up! People remember her. She was not just an in-the-background person like you might find other wedding photographers to be, but actually made our day nicer and brighter with her cheerfulness and enthusiasm. And the final product is everything we hoped for. Looking around me right now, in our 460 sq ft apartment, our tightly-curated walls have no less than 5 of her images up :)

When I first met Allison, she quickly became a friend. She listened to my wants/needs and genuinely cared about my big day. You can tell how passionate she is about the work--she puts in the time and effort to make everything just right. She's incredibly creative and loves to try new things. I loved her style, but I also appreciated her getting to know us so we could work together to create something that would be just right. It was so reassuring knowing that she listened to what was important to me. For example, I told her how much I love New York City and how much I wanted to blend my love of nature with the beauty of the city. In both our engagements and wedding photos, she did just that. When it came time to order pictures, my husband and I had such a hard time picking what we wanted because there were too many great choices. I highly, highly recommend Allison. I can't say enough good things about her. Not only will the experience be professional, but personal and fun. Love her!

Working with Allison was a great experience. We used her for our whole wedding experience including our engagement photos, bridals, groomals, and wedding day. Allison was professional and so fun to work with at each step in the wedding process. Allison allowed me to take the shots I wanted but used her professional expertise to make us look our best. Allison was able to guide us through each shoot and took some phenomenal photos. The only hard part for us was we had so many great photos to choose from we didn't know which to send out to our family and friends. Allison was flexible in scheduling our shoots and was willing to meet us at our locations of choice. 

Allison was able to capture everything on our special day from getting ready in the morning to the reception that night. Because of our unique situation of our wedding we did not have much time between the ceremony and reception to take photos. However, Allison was able to take all the shots we wanted and have us and our family to the reception on time without feeling rushed.  

Allison was an important part of our wedding day. She was a pleasure to work with. As any bride knows, the wedding day goes by too fast. Thanks to Allison I now have wonderful photos to cherish forever. 

Allison is a fantastic photographer and just a great person to be around. She is professional, positive, and easy to converse with. I always feel awkward getting my photo taken, but she is excellent at putting you at ease and just making the shoot feel normal (and even enjoyable). I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her again!
